Overview
Red Rock Canyon Campground is a typical public campground with vault toilets, drinking water, tent pads, picnic tables, and fire pits. Shade structures are in all group sites and half of the individual sites. There are 71 individual campsites (including 14 walk-in, 5 RV, and 3 accessible sites) and 7 group campsites. Walk-in sites don't have campfire rings, shade structures, or tent pads. Reservations are accepted.
Red Rock Canyon Campground is closed during summer when it is too hot to camp (from about Memorial Day to Labor Day). Otherwise, the cost is $25 per night for individual campsites, with a limit of 10 people. Walk-in sites are $12 per night. Group campsites cost $80 per night.
Location
From Las Vegas, drive west on West Charleston Blvd. About 2 miles past the edge of town, turn left onto to Moenkopi Road and drive south about 1 mile to 3293 Moenkopi Rd. Note that the turnoff on West Charleston Blvd is about 2 miles east of (before) the turnoff to the Scenic Loop Road. |
